Abeka Academy is accredited by two accrediting organizations.

Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools

Abeka Academy Accredited program, having satisfied the accreditation standards of the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS) [1429 Bethel Church Road, Omega, GA31775; Telephone: (850) 422-0065; e-mail: ops@faccs.org] has been awarded the status of Full Accreditation. In keeping with accreditation standards, our video teachers undergo certification through FACCS. Full Accreditation through FACCS provides additional national and state recognition with the following affiliations: The National Council of Private School Accreditation (NCPSA) is a consortium of accrediting associations for the recognition of early childhood, elementary, and secondary private schools and serves as a national review panel for the standards and review procedures of private school accrediting associations.

Florida Association of Academic Nonpublic Schools (FAANS) membership represents all of the major nonpublic school faith-based and non-sectarian Associations in Florida and thus encompasses the majority of the nonpublic schools within Florida. Affiliation with FAANS functions as a vital link between nonpublic schools and the Florida Legislature and the Florida Department of Education.

Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools

Abeka Academy is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA CESS) [3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104; Telephone: (267) 284-5000; e-mail: info@cess-msa.org]. MSA CESS accredits early-childhood through post-secondary institutions throughout the United States and member institutions in more than 85 countries around the world. The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools is recognized by national and international communities as the leader in both improving the quality of education through the accreditation process and affirming to the public the trustworthiness of its accredited members for the twenty-first century.

The cost depends on the grade, number of courses selected, and whether or not books are purchased with the enrollment. It is as little as $36.50 per month for K4 to $1145 paid-in-full for grades 7–12.

Step 1: Assign a student to each enrollment.

If this is your first time with Abeka Academy, you’ll create a profile for the children you’re enrolling, each with their own login. Then assign the appropriate enrollment to each student.

Step 2: Choose format and program.

First, choose your media format: streaming video or DVD. If you’re concerned about your broadband speed, our bandwidth tester will let you know whether or not your internet speed is sufficient. Next, you’ll choose between our accredited program and independent study. If you can’t decide, call one of our advisors and they can help you choose. Keep in mind that if you choose accredited, you’ll have to confirm that you are indeed the parent or legal guardian of the enrollee. Finally, if you’re enrolling a high schooler in the accredited program, you’ll have the option of choosing digital assessments or paper tests.

Step 3: A coule of bonus steps for parents of middle school or high school students.

Pick the courses they’ll take. Also, if you purchased books with your enrollment, choose whether you want printed textbooks or digital textbooks.

NOTE: Abeka has a recommended track of study for each grade but we offer you flexibility in the classes you choose for your teen.

Step 4: Pick your start date.

You can start any day of the week and choose a different start date for each child you enroll. We’ll set up a schedule designed to finish 10 months from your start date. But you’ll have a full 12 months to complete it if you need to.

NOTE: Don’t be surprised if the first few weeks are grayed out. We need some time to deliver your books.

Step 5: The enrollment agreement.

After you read over the agreement, click “Yes, I agree” and leave your digital signature. NOTE: If you selected independent study, that’s it. You’re done. If you picked accredited, keep reading.

Step 6: Proof of completion.

We’ll provide a detailed list of the information we need to ensure that your child has successfully completed the subjects necessary to begin this grade enrollment. You can download and form and mail it in, or enter the information into the computer. Once you’ve completed this step, you’re done!
