Catalogs

How do I get a catalog?

How long should it take for my catalog to arrive?

Printed catalogs usually arrive 2–3 weeks after the request date. To look at a catalog right now, you can download one.

Books

How can I review a description of the books before buying?

You can find products through the Shop menu or search bar. Once you find the product you want, click on it, and you'll see a product description. Many products also include a look-inside feature so you can get a closer look.

Can I see homeschool products in person before buying?

Dozens of free Materials Displays are held throughout the country. If you go to one, you’ll be able to ask questions, see products up close, and get exclusive discounts. Click to find a Materials Display near you.

Ordering

How long does it take for delivery of an order?

You can expect your order within 2–3 weeks. All orders within the contiguous United States and Canada are shipped by UPS. When you have an order on its way, you’ll be able to track it from your dashboard.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is FREE for the United States, Protectorates, and Canada. If you’re an international customer, please place your order online or call customer service to determine shipping costs.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Standardized Testing

Who can use Abeka Testing?

Our tests and testing services are perfect for both homeschoolers and private schools.

What’s covered in the list price of a standardized test?

The price covers the cost of student test booklets, test administration directions, answer sheets, scoring, and posting the test results.

Are there sample tests that I can give to my child prior to the actual test?

Yes! You can purchase short sample tests that familiarize your child with standardized testing procedures. These practice tests teach things like recognizing row-finders, following a row across the page, and marking answers properly.

What should I do if the materials shipped to me are damaged, incorrect, or defective upon delivery?

Contact us as soon as possible, within 10 days of receiving your order. Customer service will be happy to help!

What if I need more time to test?

Unfortunately, we’re not able to offer extensions.

If I have multiple tests may I return them each at a different time?

Please return all your tests at the same time.

Who pays for returning the test materials?

Customers cover the cost of returning materials by a traceable method. (Abeka doesn’t pay for return shipping or provide a return-shipping label.)

Where do I return my tests?

Return your tests to the following address:

Abeka Testing
240 Waveland St. Suite E
Pensacola, FL 32503

How soon will I receive my results?

You’ll see results available digitally within 10 business days.

How can I tell if my student passed or not?

Since standardized tests aren’t like typical tests, there’s no pass or fail. Results show proof of progress! Look for areas of strength, possible weaknesses, and how your child compares to other students who’ve taken the test.

My child has special needs. What accommodations are available during testing?

Children with diagnosed disabilities may qualify for certain accommodations during testing. Generally, the child’s IEP will list the appropriate modifications. Please contact us so we can give you more details and answer any questions.

Do you report the score to my state?

No, we don’t; only the test administrator will receive testing results.
