Overview

This helpful set of 15 brightly colored map teaching visuals (labeled on one side and unlabeled on the other) help your students master geography facts by learning locations of the world’s regions, countries, landforms, and more as taught in the History and Geography 5 Curriculum/Lesson Plans (available separately or as part of the Fifth Grade Curriculum) and Old World History and Geography, 4th ed. The unlabeled sides are great for review time! You may display these 17.5" x 22.5"maps on your classroom walls for all your students to see. Gr. 5.

Note the following:

  • Physical maps focus on features such as bodies of water, deserts, and mountains whereas political maps focus on names of countries. Maps that do not specify physical or political may include aspects of both.
  • Maps of specific sections (modern Middle East, Asia, Africa, western Europe, eastern Europe) include the capitals of selected countries.
  • The landforms and bodies of water map illustrates geographical terms such as tributary, sound, and oasis.
