As schools develop and implement contingency plans concerning COVID-19, Abeka understands the need for an online learning solution. If your school temporarily closes as a result of COVID-19 precautions in your area, Abeka is offering FREE ProTeach online learning until your school can return to normal operations.

ProTeach School Streaming provides pre-recorded online lessons corresponding with the Abeka curriculum lesson plans and student materials. Online lessons are taught by master teachers and are available for all subjects and grades. If you’re new to ProTeach, sample video lessons are available.

Video Manuals are step-by-step guides for every subject and grade. These guides allow teachers and parents to follow along with the video lessons at home. Video Manuals can be flexible for your school's needs. The elementary PDFs below will start at lesson 85 due to schools already being well into the second semester.

FAQs

Do I need to make any changes to my school account to use ProTeach School Streaming?

Not at all! Any school can order supplemental school streaming. (See Get Started with ProTeach.)

How will students and parents know what to do at home?

Download the Video Manuals. This will help them understand how to do video lessons at home. It’s also a good idea to establish communication channels within your school where parents and teachers can communicate about daily lesson requirements.

How can I tell if students are actually watching the lessons?

When you access your school’s account dashboard, you can see their progress in their assigned classes. (Disclaimer: Due to server capacity this may be removed)

My student’s textbooks don’t match what the school streaming lessons use. Do I have the wrong videos?

We use the latest editions of Abeka textbooks in the videos. Unfortunately, if your students don’t use Abeka textbooks or have an older edition, it will not match.

Does ProTeach School Streaming include the administration of tests and quizzes?

The videos will mention Abeka quizzes and tests, but your school and faculty will need to determine how they are administered and what the students will be graded for. Read Abeka’s official assessment guidelines.

What if I run out of streaming hours?

You can place an order for more free ProTeach school streaming hours. Use promo code PROTEACH20.

How long will the free school streaming be available?

Abeka hopes to provide this free solution for the duration of school closures in response to COVID-19 concerns. However, our server capacity may not be able to continue this service for an extended period of time if mass amounts of streaming are used simultaneously. Schools can help us continue to provide this resource by only using the number of streaming hours needed.

Is this offer available internationally?

At this time, Abeka is reviewing international Christian schools’ requests for free streaming access. Each school will be reviewed individually and granted streaming access based on our server capacity. If your school is in need of ProTeach School Streaming and is located outside of the United States and its protectorates, please email us at Schools@abeka.com.

My school is a Master Video School, do we qualify for free streaming?

Master video schools already have an unlimited amount of streaming hours. All you need to do is add student users to your account and assign their classes. Watch the video on how to add students here.
