Valentine’s Day is a fun time to celebrate love—but not everyone feels like celebrating.

For many widows and widowers, especially those in our churches or nursing homes, this day can be a quiet reminder of someone they miss dearly. But homeschool families like yours have a beautiful opportunity to make them feel loved. This year, we’re inviting your children to take part in a special Valentine’s Day Challenge that’s all about kindness, compassion, and sharing God’s love in a simple way.

It’s easy—and meaningful!

1. Download our set of 5 printable Valentine’s Day cards.
2. Color the cards, however you like—markers, crayons, glitter, stickers—go for it!
3. Write a sweet note inside the card to remind someone they’re loved and not alone.
4. Deliver your finished cards to widows and widowers in your church, neighborhood, or a local nursing home.
5. Share with us on social media by tagging @abekahomeschool with the hashtag #SharingGod’sLove!
